Silica Gel bulk
Silica Gel bulk consists of loose silica granules that are made with and without an indicator. The silica gel bulk with an orange colour are the grains that change colour when saturated. The orange colour changes from dark green to dark blue.
Silica gel is regenerable when saturated.
The silica bulk, which is green in colour after saturation, gradually changes back to orange when heated. Regeneration takes place by placing the loose silica gel bulk grains in an oven at a temperature of approx. 80 degrees. This action makes silica gel reusable. White silica gel is used in air filters.
There are various types of silica gel bulk.
The size of the silica granules is decisive. Silica gel with a size of 0.2 to 0.8 mm is used for drying flowers. Silica gel bulk is only supplied in bulk and not in silica gel sachets. These bags are made of tyvec or paper but these materials are redundant with silica gel bulk orange or silica gel bulk white. Silica gel bulk is non-toxic, silica gel bulk is reusable and silica gel bulk are the granules used in moisture absorber sachets.
Moisture absorber large or moisture absorber small
It does not matter. In both types of moisture absorbers is silica gel bulk. Also in dehumidifiers is often used white silica gel. Silica gel bulk is produced in large quantities in china. Most of the silica gel bags for which bulk silica gel is used are produced in china to save costs. In europe, there is increasing interest in offering alternative desiccants to replace silica gel bulk orange and silica gel bulk white.
