Think of e.g. adding a bag to steel or metal, electronics, with camera or photographic equipment or inside your packaging materials.
Silica gel can absorb circa 30% of its own weight in moisture and is available in two variants. The Silica gel non-food with white granules, available in bags from 0.5 to 1,000 grams.
The Silica gel non-food desiccant bags with added orange granules (Silica gel Aihua). This bag contains an indicator, the orange granules, which change to a blue-green colour when they are saturated.
